Chewie and I decided to test drive the Quinzee last year when we moved into a cavernous house with vaulted ceilings during the coldest part of a Blue Mountains winter… which meant we could pretty much see our breath puff out of our mouths like dragons in our kitchen every morning. We were, shall we say, roughing it. Anyway, I wanted a comfy and super cozy coat for Chewie. After all it wasn’t his decision to move to a house without heating. Ha! We pretty much used the Quinzee full time all winter for a jacket and as pyjamas.

I got Chewie a nice bright green one which was one of last winter's colours. He looks absolutely gorgeous with the contrast to his rusty fur. The Quinzee is super super comfortable. I think that’s what Chewy liked the best. It has nice insulation but it remains form fitting and streamlined and doesn’t get in the way of a good romp or play. For sleeping it’s cuddly and soft. And WARM. Did we mention warm?

Another plus is that it’s a breeze to get on and off. Just slide the coat over your dog’s neck and attach buckles on.

The Quinzee Jacket has sheltered side release buckles so that they never get caught on anything or accidentally released. And if you are off on an adventure and need to carry the coat with you it packs down very concisely and compactly in an integrated stuff sack.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Yes, you can machine wash your Quinzee. Secure the fasteners and wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Hang to dry. (Don't bleach, iron or dry clean.
