The range of Ruffwear boots are really good, the best off the shelf boots for wear and durability we have found. Our dog suffers from a condition that splits his pads, so must wear boots all the time when outside. We have been using Ruffwear Skyliner boots for the past 3 years, with the boot liner socks. As the Skyliner boots are no longer available we have just purchased the first set of Summit Trek boots and he has adapted to them very quickly. The new Summit boots are a slightly bigger fit than the Skyliner boots, so it will take a bit time and trial to get the perfect sizing (and yes we used the correct measure the paw method and also went on his past sizing).
Really love the orange and grey colours.

A great set of shoes for our aging Lab. He used to baulk at gravel tracks & burr-filled paddocks - but not now! He charges into anything when he has his Ruffwear boots on! He's a new dog whenever he goes out in them.

the boots have made a huge difference to my 14 year old golden retriever. he was having trouble getting traction when trying to get up from tiled floor. the boots make it a lot easier for him.

My husband and I do a lot of road running with our two Kelpies - Grizzly and Storm. They love the exercise of course but we noticed Storms pads starting to wear down considerably and he's only 3yrs! He's had his boots for about 3 weeks now and as soon as we start to run he easily gets into his little trot and we're off.

Still wearing them in. Takes a while for older dog to get used to them, but have persisted and can only say I wished I had of known about Ruffwear before as it would have saved our dog a few vet visits with concrete burns running around the pool ( life guard) on very hot days.
Would also like to add the staff are fantastic, will definitely be looking for winter shoes

My 1 year Old Japanese Spitz slips terribly on our smooth floors but since we got him his boots, he is much happier. Being so young, he does sometimes chew them but they are fairly hardy and so far he has only destroyed the velcro on one of them. His confidence has certainly improved and its obvious that he knows how much he needs his boots on. He only needs one to get the traction he needs so we have plenty to spare with four boots in a pack.

We purchased the boots to help our retired IRISH WOLFHOUND who has a little hip trouble and therefore can scrape a nail or two right back so his toe will bleed.I have found them excellent in helpling him get his nail growth and there fore injury back on track. An excellent product that is well made, tough and can be used as required.......a good product......well worth it!

These boots looked great. when we first got them. I was happy that I could split the set in two different sizes (Koenig's back feet are smaller than his front feet) but we made the safety orange boots turn black and scuffed all the fabric up in just a weekend! Something a little more heavy duty may be more practical for a German Shepherd. The whole boot should be made out of the stuff used to make the soles of the shoe because that stuff is tough!

Jedd is an elderly Old English Sheepdog (11 years old) who has had two knee reconstructions and is very arthritic. He's not an 'old' dog but tries to be active and wants to play and chase like a younger dog. He was constantly sliding into a 'splits' position at the rear end and hurting his legs and hips. With his boots on this has been much improved. The Ruffwear Dog Boots Summit Trex have been great.
He can now get himself up and down on smooth surfaces without a struggle. He has a little trouble with the front boots, tending to catch the toe on the ground and trip. However, he really doesn't need those. We find that with just the back feet in boots he achieves stability and mobility.
We've had no issues with him wearing them. We started him off with the socks. He made no attempt to remove those so put the boots on him and within a couple of minutes he was up and off looking for a good walk. Mind you, I can't promise that all dogs would take to them as well. Jedd has always been an exceptional dog that accepts what we do as being safe and good.
Waggle have given us great customer service. The first pair I ordered were too big and it was no hassle at all to send them back for a refund and order the new pair straight away. There was only a 2 day turn around.
The quality of the boots is great. They are easy to get on and off, particularly with the socks under them, and they are tough and yet light on Jedd's feet. Everywhere we go people smile and ask about them. They all want to know why a dog would wear such 'sexy' shoes. Of course, he did choose the bright orange ones!!

I bought these for my girl while she was at work with me. After the initial I shall not wear them attitude she set telex in and they've been great. Saves her from getting anything in her feet.
