We purchased the boots to help our retired IRISH WOLFHOUND who has a little hip trouble and therefore can scrape a nail or two right back so his toe will bleed.I have found them excellent in helpling him get his nail growth and there fore injury back on track. An excellent product that is well made, tough and can be used as required.......a good product......well worth it!

These boots looked great. when we first got them. I was happy that I could split the set in two different sizes (Koenig's back feet are smaller than his front feet) but we made the safety orange boots turn black and scuffed all the fabric up in just a weekend! Something a little more heavy duty may be more practical for a German Shepherd. The whole boot should be made out of the stuff used to make the soles of the shoe because that stuff is tough!

Jedd is an elderly Old English Sheepdog (11 years old) who has had two knee reconstructions and is very arthritic. He's not an 'old' dog but tries to be active and wants to play and chase like a younger dog. He was constantly sliding into a 'splits' position at the rear end and hurting his legs and hips. With his boots on this has been much improved. The Ruffwear Dog Boots Summit Trex have been great.

He can now get himself up and down on smooth surfaces without a struggle. He has a little trouble with the front boots, tending to catch the toe on the ground and trip. However, he really doesn't need those. We find that with just the back feet in boots he achieves stability and mobility.

We've had no issues with him wearing them. We started him off with the socks. He made no attempt to remove those so put the boots on him and within a couple of minutes he was up and off looking for a good walk. Mind you, I can't promise that all dogs would take to them as well. Jedd has always been an exceptional dog that accepts what we do as being safe and good.

Waggle have given us great customer service. The first pair I ordered were too big and it was no hassle at all to send them back for a refund and order the new pair straight away. There was only a 2 day turn around.

The quality of the boots is great. They are easy to get on and off, particularly with the socks under them, and they are tough and yet light on Jedd's feet. Everywhere we go people smile and ask about them. They all want to know why a dog would wear such 'sexy' shoes. Of course, he did choose the bright orange ones!!

I bought these for my girl while she was at work with me. After the initial I shall not wear them attitude she set telex in and they've been great. Saves her from getting anything in her feet.

having bought an tried an alternative boot for Barney with little success at walking easily and being able to actually keep them on, these were a lifesaving find! Barney is allergic to bees yet continually steps on them so these boots help protect him whilst allowing him to walk, run and play as easily as ever.....and better still, the other dogs don't laugh at him wearing these cool boots!

Our boxer was dragging her feet when walking and rubbed her feet raw on top next to her claws. The dog boots were bought to protect her feet. She took to the dog boots after just a few minutes of 'space walking'. They performed really well once we got the hang of how tight they needed to be with the only downside some rubbing next to her front dew claws. We are trying some band aids to overcome the dew claw issue.

These have been fantastic in supporting and protecting the paws of my 10 year old German Shepherd who thinks he is still a pup and wants to walk with me each day. He was dragging his paws (due to the GS breed hip problem). Now he wears "his joggers" as my grand daughter calls them and he now enjoys the walk. They have really protected his paws and he has no trouble wearing them as they are a great fit and stand up to the bush terrain as we live on a rural property. If you follow the info on Waggles website re choosing the size, you'll definitely get the correct fit.
They stand up to walking on wet grass, mud and prickles....brilliant product. They easily slip on over the Ruffwear socks. Very happy.
