The Ruffwear Swamp Cooler provides protection from the sun and cooling through evaporation.

Your dog can beat the heat, staying cool while running, playing on the beach, boating on open water,or waiting for their turn during outdoor agility trials in the heat.

The light-colored fabric reflects solar radiation, while evaporative cooling pulls heat from the dog. The integrated leash portal allows leash attachment when the Swamp Cooler is worn over a harness.

The summers can be brutal here in Australia. Despite the heat our dogs require exercise for their health and for their sanity. Not all breeds are cut out for this climate. How to use it

Just soak the coat completely with cold water. Wring out the excess. Silde your dog's head through the neck hole and fasten the buckles at the rib cage. And off you go! It's simple and straight forward. The Swamp Cooler will keep your dog cool for several hours (depending on how hot it is) and then you can renew the evaporative power wherever you can find water.
