With your dog bearing weight on the paw draw a line to the left and right of the widest part of the paw. Then measure the distance between the two lines to get the paw width measurement.
Choose the smallest size socks that will accommodate your dog's paw width. If your dog needs socks for the front and back paws be sure to measure a back paw as well as a front paw as back paws tend to be smaller. You may need to buy two different sizes to accommodate front and back paws.
