As extra security for credit card purchases, you have a Credit Card Verification number (CCV) on your Visa, MasterCard, or Amercan Express.
If you have a Visa or Mastercard, your CCV is located on the signature line on the back of your card. The CCV will be the 3 digit number after your credit card number.
For Amercian Express, your CCV is the 4 digit number on the front of your card, above and to the right of your card number.
