This is Sambo my 6 year old Kelpie cross. This pic was taken 2 weeks after he became paraplegic from an explosive disc which penetrated his spinal cord while running in our yard. As you can imagine I was devasted, he was operated on & I was told to put him to sleep as he would never be able to walk again. I decided his life was worth everything & I would give him a chance at the very least. He always loved swimming in our pool so when I bought him home from hospital the first part of his recovery therapy was swimming. His waggle life jacket was invaluable as it gave him more confidence in helping keep him afloat. I think the ball in his mouth says that he is enjoying himself. It is now 8 months since his injury & I am happy to report that thru love & dedication he has 55- 60% movement back in his hind legs.Thank you Waggle for supplying such great products, I know that your life jacket has been a big help in Sambos recovery in helping him excersise & enjoy activities like swimming once again.

Hi there. I just wanted to let you know how much my dog loves her Ruff Wear Float Coat! She had one of her front legs amputated 3 weeks ago due to bone cancer. We thought her days of swimming, which is her favourite activity, had come to an end but thanks to the Ruff Wear Float Coat she can still swim with confidence. The single large opening for the front legs is perfect as it doesn't rub on her scar and it also accommodates her remaining front leg which has moved to a more central position. I would recommend it to any owners of amputee dogs.
