Note: if you can't select a size or colour, it is out of stock.

Keep your dog safe and comfortable with a dog walk, run, or outing you will both enjoy. These dog boots will provide everyday traction and paw protection from a wide range of temperatures, abrasive surfaces and unseen hazards, while also improving mobility in older dogs. To help slide the boots on easier, use a Bark'n Boot liner. Boots come in a set of four.

The Skyliner boots are great for dogs who engage in moderate activities and don't require a super grip sole. Ruff Wear boots are one of our best selling products because they are extremely functional and well made. Please be careful when sizing your dog as the Ruff Wear dog boots do tend to run large so be sure to do a proper measurement. We care about your dog and are more than happy to do exchanges provided the boots haven't been worn outside. but it's definitely more convenient for you to get the right size the first time.

Getting the right fit is really important.
To ensure a proper fit (and to ensure the boots stay on) it is important to measure your dog's paws. Don't assume paw size is based on your dog's overall size...make sure to measure using our easy directions below.

Measuring Paw Width
1) Have your dog stand on a firm surface (wood, linoleum, or concrete).
2) Place a piece of blank paper under a front paw.
3) Lift the dog's other front paw so that its weight is placed firmly on the paw being measured.
4) Mark the paper at the paw's widest point on the left and right edges of the paw (see graphic on size chart).
5) Use a ruler to measure the distance from the left mark to the right mark on the paper.
6) Use the Size Chart tab to determine the proper size. For example: if the width is measured between 57-64 mm, the dog would wear a small boot; between 70-76 mm, a large.

Size Paw Width
XXX-Small 1.5" / 38 mm
XX-Small 2.0" / 51 mm
X-Small 2.25" / 57 mm
Small 2.5" / 64 mm
Medium 2.75" / 70 mm
Large 3.0" / 76 mm
X-Large 3.25" / 83 mm

Sizing Instructions

Don't assume paw size is based on your dog's overall size...make sure to measure using our easy directions below.

Important: A snug fit is necessary to keep boots securely on paw.

Measuring Paw Width

Have your dog stand on a hard surface. Place a piece of blank paper under paw. Lift the opposing paw so that dog's weight is distributed firmly on the paw being measured. (We suggest measuring both front and back paws.) Mark the paper at the paw's widest point on the left and right edges of the paw (see graphic). Use a ruler to measure the distance from the left mark to the right mark. Use the chart to determine the proper boot size.

For in between sizes, choose the next size up for comfort and performance.

I bought Sasha some Ruff Wear boots 4 months ago to protect her injured left front paw. I'm not sure how she lost a middle toe and how her foot became deformed as I adopted her at 10 years old. She is 15 this month and it is increasingly difficult for her to walk on hard and rough surfaces. In the past I have used a baby sock to help with the discomfort but they wear out very quickly as you can imagine. 4 months ago I found the Ruff Wear boots on Waggle.com.au and thought I would give them (although she only wears one) a go. Sasha walked the longest distance unassisted I have ever seen her walk, which was almost 1km. It has helped her immensely in being able to enjoy the dog park and take herself to the toilet independantly. She has no objections to having it put on and is known now as the old dog with the boot at the dog park now. I think she likes the attention it brings her! Thanks Waggle for supplying these fantastic doggie boots, they have been a godsend!

Ozzie is very pleased with his shoes and I must say this is the only one that he has not tried to get rid of. Finally he can have his daily walks without mum worrying about paw dermatitis.
